Mise is made by À un flâneur. This page says what the app keeps, who else touches it, and how to get rid of it. Questions about your own data go to [email protected].
What the app keeps
- Your account. Your email address, a password if you set one, and the language you chose. Signing in with Google tells us the email address on that Google account and nothing else — no contacts, no Drive, no profile beyond the address.
- Your photographs. Pictures of your clothes, pictures of you if you add them, and the previews generated from both. They sit in private storage that only your signed-in session can open.
- What you tell us about yourself. Body measurements, sizes, the cuts you wear, brands and styles you like, the country you shop in. All optional, all editable, all deletable.
- What you do in the app. Pieces you open, like or hide; outfits you build; messages you send to other members; the previews you have generated and what paid for each.
- Payments. Whether you subscribe and when the period ends. Card numbers never reach us: Stripe takes the payment and tells us only that it succeeded.
What happens to your photographs
Two things, both of which you ask for by pressing a button.
Reading a garment sends the picture to Anthropic, which returns what it sees — type, colour, cloth, brand, the fibres printed on the care label. Generating a preview sends your photograph and the garment's to Google (Gemini), which returns one image.
Each is a single request, answered and finished. Under the terms we use, neither provider may train models on what we send them. We do not sell your photographs, we do not publish them, and we do not show them to other members unless you publish them yourself.
What the app will not do is invent a picture of you. If the model refuses or fails, you are told so — there is no stand-in image of a body that is not yours.
Who else is involved
- Supabase — the database, the file storage and the sign-in.
- Vercel — hosting for the website and the API.
- Anthropic and Google — the models described above.
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
- Expo — delivery of push notifications, if you turn them on.
There are no advertising networks, no trackers that follow you to other sites, and nothing is sold to anybody. These providers run servers in several countries, so your data may be processed outside Brazil or the EEA under the standard contractual clauses those providers publish.
What other people can see
Your name and profile photo, anything you publish or list for sale, and ratings you leave as a curator.
Your wardrobe is private unless you set it to public, and your appearance photographs and previews are never public — there is no setting that makes them so.
How long it is kept
Until you delete it. Deleting a piece deletes its photographs; deleting a preview deletes the image.
Deleting your account removes your profile, your wardrobe, your photographs, your previews, your measurements, your preferences and your messages, and it cannot be undone. Records of payments are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires — in Brazil, five years — because that is an obligation we cannot delete our way out of.
Your rights
Under the LGPD and the GDPR you may ask what we hold, correct it, take a copy of it, object to how it is used, withdraw consent, or have it erased.
Erasure needs no request: Settings → Delete account does it immediately, and [email protected] answers everything else. We reply within 15 days.
Children
Mise is not for children under 13, and it is not designed for them. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
When this text changes the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects what we do with your photographs will be told to you in the app, not buried here.
